Project Progress Template

This page can be used as an ongoing “notepad” to be used by instructors for students' projects.

Project Goal

An overall project goal should be stated here. For example “Student will create a tic-tac-toe game”.

Milestones

Milestones should be briefly listed here, and any instructor-specific notes will go here. Date/time should be provided with notes, so that other instructors know how long a certain milestone is taking.

Deadlines

If anything needs to be accomplished by a certain date, make notes here. For example, if student will be moving, or if specified project has a rigid time schedule (not likely), note that here.

Current Status

Student's current status should be noted here. This will help other instructors guide the student in the case of main instructor absence.

Concerns / Issues

Any concerns/issues should be noted here

Praise / Accomplishments

  • “Student worked on their project from home”
  • “Student was very interested in project, and was constantly suggesting improvements”

Project Completion

  • Get student / parent feedback
  • Any other feedback from volunteers, etc.
  • Any plans for presentation of the project should be noted here.
