This page serves as a template for evalating a student's performance on a particular workshop project. It is to be filled out by instructors, and presented to the student at the end of a project. The goal of these report cards is to identify areas where a student excelled and areas the student needs to improve when accomplishing a project.
Was the project's goal clearly defined?
Was the student aware of the steps needed to accomplish the project, or did they show disinterest, confusion?
Were there distinguished accomplishments and the project's milestones clearly defined?
Was the student able to maintain interest in the project, and make distinguishable progress towards the project's goal in a timely fashion? Or did the project just drift about?
Was the student enthusiastic about the project?
Did the student pay attention to the instructor?
Was the student helpful towards other students, or were they disruptive?
Was the student late to the workshop or absent on many occasions without contact?
Sum up good/bad stuff.
Make sure to note any “resume” kinds of stuff here, and if appropriate, give instructor contact information for recommendations, etc.
